These little brass maple leaves are scattered around the cuff. They tilt slightly so they almost look like they are falling.
The cuff is solid copper and is approximately 1 inch in width. It is designed for the average sized wrist (6-7 inches) but could work for a little smaller or a little larger. The cuff is lightly textured and was patina'd with the torch to give an antique-y feel to the color of the copper. The bright gold brass leaves were buffed to give maximum contrast between them and the band of the cuff.
The piece is sealed to protect the finish of the cuff and to help prevent any discoloration of the skin from the warm metals like copper. Please read the posts on How to Put On a Cuff Bracelet and Protective Coatings elsewhere on this website for tips on how to best care for your bracelet. Moderate care will help the coating last indefinitely and your bracelet's finish or patina should be constant.
